So, you ended up on this page — welcome. As a 60+ year old professional I would like to offer you my help if you have questions about your financial goals and challenges or current investments. Whether young or old, I could be your sparring partner, counselor or mentor.

I have been active in the international equity markets since 1989 and started investing early in my career, with many downs but ultimately with enough ups, such that I am currently motivated to share my experiences — to make sure you don’t make investing too complicated, you don’t overpay for investment services (I do this free of charge by the way), to find out what suits you and what is realistic.

Above all I can help you to get a feel for what is investing as opposed to speculating. That is what I already have been doing with my children (whether they liked it or not but I feel they are happy with it now..)

PHILOSOPHY

Warren Buffett defines investing as the forgoing of consumption today to ensure greater consumption in the future.

To do that successfully you would have to own income generating businesses like companies or real estate, entities which can over time increase their earnings or rents.

You can own such businesses direct or via private equity or via the stockmarket.
