Background

KP in KPValuePlatform stands for Klaver Partners BV, the fund representation company I founded in 2005. With over three decades of experience in international equity markets, I’ve built long-term partnerships with exceptional, entrepreneurial fund managers.

My career began in 1989 at Merrill Lynch in New York, after which I continued in the firm’s London and Zurich equity departments, gaining broad expertise in global equities and institutional brokerage. In 2001, I returned to the Netherlands as Managing Director at Petercam Bank in Amsterdam, where I was responsible for the firm’s equity brokerage activities in the Dutch market.

Over the years, I have maintained close professional relationships with the fund founders I work with today — relationships built on trust, quality, and shared conviction in active value investing.
